Watching the last 2 episodes of The OC (season 3) made me tear. Especially the part when Marissa made her exit, forever. Eyes were teary, mood was dampened. That’s what I really like about the OC, amidst the scandals and the never ending complications to life, there’s always a tinge of reality lurking between the happenings and the characters. So I guess, I would be getting season 3’s DVD next month. The other seasons would have to wait. I miss Marissa. =(
The day was spent at my aunt’s. Reached at around lunch time after departing from Khor’s house (where I went to pass him his present). It was a rather routine affair that I see not much need to elaborate. The usual potluck, the standard games the kids play while (some) adults would join them, others will sit and watch, some like ME will stare at my reflection admiring my unkempt hair. =P If there are any pics, I would post as I deem appropriate. I wasn’t really much of a sociable animal yesterday mainly because I never was. But yesterday was exceptionally empty. Even the KTV at night was a total blank for me. It was awkward. Still, getting a lil high (drunk) at night was real cool. I slept almost instantly (before the clock struck 12), and woke with a headache. Ouch*
The Christmas Aftermath.
Now that I’m sober, so here’s a follow-up of last nights events.
I received Christmas well wishes from Melinda, Vanessa, ChooKiat, Jason, Charlene, Lincoln, Gideon, Lawrence, Shichen, Dennis, Derrick, Bryan, Mingyew. (did I miss anyone out?)
Then erm, presents I received this year are quite to my heart. There’s this mobile phone accessory from Cheryl, a Slingbag from Jason, Tshirt from HK from my aunt, Chocolates, Hair Gel and a CARD from Jiaying! Given that the tradition of sending Christmas cards is over, it’s real sweet to receive one from her. (=
LAstly (while there's still time), here's wishing a MERRY X’MAS to ALL!!!
PS: Life has to go on and the agenda for today: Get my hair cut; Go to the bookstores to get a couple of stuff for tuition, sis and myself.
