++ "881" Gala Premiere

The Rush
I went to "881"'s gala premiere last night. Before i lunge into the film, i must narrate the entire process of me making it on time for the cocktail session at 730. I booked out at 1735, then i rushed for the bus, reached home at 1830. In a mad rush, i bathed, did my hair and flew out at 1900 to meet my mom who was having dinner. The growling stomach stayed that way until 0030 this morning when i settled down with a bowl of noodles i cooked myself! *sobs*

The Meetings
So i met my Mom at the entrance where i saw Mr Man. He's looking good! Haha, and I'm forever be in debt to him for his help on my project work when i was in college. The crowd was much smaller compared to previous events i attended.

However, i couldn't find a familiar face until i spotted Nat and waved to me. He was with Dawn who was behaving oddly. Thereafter, i managed to find a few whom i know and took pictures with them before they were robbed in the middle of our conversation. Oh and i confronted Daren, ask him why he never say hi that time when he collected his stuff. LOL. He said he was unsure of whether it's really me. LOL. But it's true lahs! It'll be so weird. LOL. and ... i also saw Colin! =P

Praises were sung and i'm flattered but currently, i have other goals in life and the proposed one ain't one of them. So, until the time when i'm sure, i won't give it a shot. Thanks anyway. =)

The film
On the whole, i felt the movie was brilliant! Royston Tan managed to evoke emotions, that of humour and melancholy well in the various scenes. An added bonus would be the music which, even though i do not fully understand, were meaningful and sometimes funny! I had to refer to the subtitles when they conversed/sang in dialect. Despite that fact, i enjoyed the movie and was almost in tears towards the end. Where friendship is concerned, i realised being truthful might be the best route to seeking forgiveness. It is definitely one of the best local films this year so cheers to that. (= Oh and i feel Mindee is a good actress! =)
