I met up with Jy, Ls, Gf, Cheryl and Ej on Friday. It was a birthday cum get together session at Ma Maison last night. It's located at The Central, Clarke Quay and the window seats entitle you to a direct view of the river. The restaurant serves fusion food. In this case, it would be Japanese and Western. The decoration and layout of the restaurant exuded a European cottage charm. Did i mention the ambiance was that of romance and cosiness? We ordered a variety of dishes from starters to main course and finished the meal with desserts. Fulfillment was written on our faces when we left.

The friendly staff there catered to our every need. In fact, there was one particular waiter who was so funny. Knowing Jy's birthday was round the corner, he told us there will be a special surprise if she patronized the restaurant on her birthday. Thereafter, he started acting so secretive about it, refusing to tell Jy what was the 'surprise'. He showed Ls the birthday surprise pamphlet, and she blurted out "it's cheesecake!". Kinda anti-climatic but yea. =X

I guess soaking in each others company brought the moods and atmosphere to a high. We chatted, joked and laughed a lot. After dinner, we headed to M-O-S where we met Alyssa. Gimme gimme more!
