Chiayi - Alishan

Alishan National Scenic Area is a mountain resort and natural preserve located in the mountains of Chiayi County in Taiwan. The area is also famous for its production of high mountain tea and wasabi. We took nearly 3 hours to reach the top of the mountain but all was not in vain. At 3000m above sea level, it was one of the most beautiful... and cold places that i've ever been too. (Minus Korea thou) The temperature then was 7 degrees celcius. Did you see the frozen lake? *points below* That's how cold it is up there. Oh and see the fog... it's so beautiful....Enough said, i'll let the pictures do the talking. =)

The lake don't look frozen, but it looks genting-ish. How cold is it?
