The End's Not Near, It's Here.

I went to camp to collect my IC and COS in the morning. The initial elation of receiving my pink ic evaporated upon returning to my section, where i received hugs from Eric, ZG, Tim and Francis.

It's hard to believe i've come to the end of this journey and that i'm leaving a whole bunch of wonderful people behind. Despite all the promises to keep in contact, i know it's not going to be easy, especially since they'll still be spending months together and i'm not going to be on that journey with them. But i'll leave it to time to tell. The numerous handshakes with all the people i've befriended the past 14 months came after the emotional moment.. It's too long a list to thank everyone but you should know who you are.
Thank you for the memories.

Looking back, the worse time of my stint would be at the 'hellhole'. It was indeed a miracle Butty, Derrick, Isaac, Kelvin and i survived to see the light. That experience also made us closer to each other and to cherish what we have after that. Without you guys, i would never have survived that place.

Then of course, the most important people to thank are my parents, who showered me with care and concern from the day i enlisted, especially during the time when i was injured. Thank you.
