'Ryan turns 21' - The Show

I'm sorry it took so long.. Here it is.. the final entry.

Performing with a bad throat.

The guests started arriving from 630pm and the programme officially started when ChongQing arrived, at around 815pm.

A video made of photos chosen by Lishan, Jiaying and made playable by CheeBeng and myself was screened after ChongQing introduced himself as the emcee. As everyone watched with zest, i had a few feedbacks of people spotting tears in the eyes of some relatives. Yes, i've come a long way and seeing 21 years worth of memories would probably make me tear too. After the video, i gave my impromptu 'Thank you' speech which my 'impromptu' and my throat really hurts from all that socializing prior the speech so my voice was kinda soft.

ChongQing led everyone to a game of Bingo. I was rotting behind with Peter Laoshi and Bryan when Chongqing asked me to proceed front to help him and stop being so talkative since im having a fever. When Eric won Bingo, i was quite happy for him as i know he's been struggling to save up for a diving trip.

Then the time for cake cutting came.

Peter laoshi led the 'choir' to sing the bday song. It was damn damn funny because he actually started with "let's sing the first word "Hap~, Happy~". Everyone was roaring with laughter cos it was so like a music lesson/choir session. It was the most iconic moment of the night. That was of course followed by a kiss from one of my closest friends around. You should seriously watch the video, but i'm not posting any online so ask me for it.

The finale was when i sang a song, from the originally planned two due to the lousy voice that night.. The sound system decided to play punk with me. As compared to the sound-check i did earlier on, i could not really hear the music until the second chorus. There were praises from people, but i know laoshi ain't too happy.. After discounting my bad throat, it was still below his expectations. =X

The event ended on a high note with performances dedicated to me by John, Vanessa and Ziqin.
