Catchin' up w Nathaniel

Catching up with friends has always been a pleasant affair. The last time i met him was awhile back so lunching with Nathaniel last week was a rather cosy one. It was last minute, his call came 2 hours before the actual meeting time. Lunch was settled at this HK restaurant. The food was moderately good, i'll say yes to a second visit. The conversations we had stretched across several topics, none of which i'll mention here. Laugher, it erupted several times at the corner table we sat at, carefully isolated from the crowd, except perhaps for the table next to ours. He passed me some samples from his latest endorsement deal. Post lunch, the laughter that resulted from a mistaken identity, which was verified via a phone call made to the list of memorable events for that day.

We scouted for a location to take a photo, cos i believe in creating evidence of physical memories than letting it float in my head. We settled for a place far from prying eyes of little girls in uniform squealing and pointing. The floor was dirty, bags remained on our shoulders. Flash or no flash, small issue, different preferences. Window shopping thereafter, stopping only to visit the cameras on display. I want an ipod, he wants a imac. But wants and needs differ, i need a car but i cannot afford one, he can afford a car but he needs his license. Alright, this is supposed to be a short update so i guess i better stop here.
