The Analogy:
Train rides home are a source of inspiration, if i aint asleep that is. Realised I was never a social butterfly, those flying from place to place making new friends. I'm more of a caterpillar, one that stays at my tree; on my leave, waiting for others to come to me, yet not ready to accept them as aquaintances. It's usually with time that i share my space with them, and it's up to them whether or not they want to stay. Still, some people somehow managed to strike up something in me, making me want to share my life with them. Such rare happenings made me realised life aint that bland afterall. =) Alrite, i know this analogy sounds funny, but still, it struck me.
The episode:
Something happened today that made me realised the destructive ability of people in power. They practically decide your fate, and my friend's fate was sealed by a a visit to 'hell'. Along with that, he would lose his chance to get into a local Uni. All these misfortunes happened because he did something that someone in authority was unhappy with. Rather, the person in authority disliked him and finally got a chance to do him in. This sucks.
Saw Yen Soon on the way back, he looks the same cept for his shoulders, they were carrying 2 bars, bars of authority, bars that command respect. To me, he's still yensoon.
